“What to Do When You Don’t Know What to Do”

SPEAKER: Troy Champ

How big is your faith this season? Is it growing? Is it getting bigger and stronger? Or is your faith shrinking and dwindling? Wouldn’t you love to have the kind of faith that could bring strength from weakness and joy from sorrow? In our attempts to control feared outcomes, have we been guilty of lashing out and reaching for things outside God’s will to accomplish our will?

What if there’s a different way? What if there’s a better way than ranting and raving? Instead of fussing, fuming, and fretting, what if we lived like we have shepherd who promises to lead and guide even through the valley of the shadow of death?

Maybe, we can learn something from Jehoshaphat in 2 Chronicles. When facing unbeatable odds against enemy armies, he started with a simple prayer. Maybe for you it starts with a simple prayer too. Maybe this season we start not by telling God what we need Him to do, but finally admitting we’re not so sure. Maybe we tell him, God, we don’t know what to do, but our eyes are on you.

Seek God in this season. Ask around about Him. Praise Him before your problem is solved.
