Talking to Myself

Talk to yourself more than you listen to yourself.

“Have you realized that most of your unhappiness in life is due to the fact that you are listening to yourself instead of talking to yourself?” (Martin Lloyd-Jones). If you’re living with a broken heart or a crushed spirit, look inward and say the words of Psalm 42 to yourself “Put your hope in God!”. God gives us an ultimate hope that transcends circumstances, and sometimes we need to remind ourselves of that. Talk to yourself more than you listen to yourself.
