Nothing to Prove

Love has nothing to prove.

Bettering yourself can be a good reason to push yourself—it’s not inherently bad to push yourself to be a better boss, better friend, better leader, better spouse, or better parent. But there’s a big difference between pushing yourself for the sake of others and proving yourself for the sake of you. As we learn from Top Gun: Maverick and examples of God’s love through the bible, you don’t have to strive to earn God’s love. You are loved. Love has nothing to prove.

We’re currently in our God and the Movies series where we’re considering how God can speak into our lives through some of our favorite movies.

During this series, we’ll broadcast our service live here on our Capital Church app or at capitalchurch.com/watch but not YouTube.

Our licensing allows us to broadcast the movie series live, but we are not able to leave the messages online to be viewed later. You can join us at either 9:15am or 11am (MST) each Sunday.

So, grab your popcorn, open your heart, and let’s get ready to hear what God wants to say through some of this year’s best movies.
