The Grace of Giving
Money tempts us with power, protection, provision, and pleasure. Its promises are grand and its shelter seemingly secure. No wonder we trust and treat money like a god—it acts like one! Whether you have a little or a lot of it, money can rule you. In this series, we’ll challenge you to take a look at your relationship with money and possessions and examine whether the almighty dollar has uprooted the place of the almighty God in your life. Join us as we learn together how to understand resources in light of God’s economy.

Let’s process and pray as we continue to reflect on the message this week. Through that process of wrestling with the questions of how much we should give, He molds us and shapes us into generous people. The very essence of God is generosity. If you’ve experienced God’s grace, may it overflow in how you invest your money and may you excel in the grace of giving.
Honestly, Capital has a community of talented people. High-capacity people. God has blessed our community with many, many things – gifts, talents, resources. The encouragement of Paul to the Corinthians rings true for us, we excel at many things, why not also excel in the grace of giving. Make all you can, save all you can, give all you can. Let’s excel in the grace of giving.
