Have you ever been more concerned with being right over being loving? There are countless great things you can do but they are worthless without love. You can give or serve, you can teach or volunteer, you can reason or plead, but unless you’re doing it all from a heart of love it’s. just. noise.
Homework
As you look at your life, maybe some self-assessment is on the to-do list this week. Take this verse and replace the word “love” with your name. Take it one word at a time and see how you do. After all, anything you do without love is just noise.
