God is closer than you think.
Do you ever face something in your life and wonder, where is God? Did He sleep in today? Has He nodded off? What if your faith doesn’t have to be shaken? What if you could find the faith to trust in the midst of suffering? What if God is closer than you think? You might be looking at your life from the wrong perspective. Do not discount the persistent presence and power of God’s love. Your feelings may come and go, but not the love of God. Your commitment may ebb and flow, but not the love of God. If you grasp, even in part, the unrelenting love of God, you will not be conquered by the worst that life can throw at you.
The Lord was with Joseph, and the Lord is with you.

Homework
Sit in the passenger seat of a car and check out the window as a reminder “objects in mirror are closer than they appear”. Read Psalm 44, then read Romans 8 and let it sink in. Remember to check your blind spot, but remember God is with you too, closer than you think.
