God's work through you begins with God's work in you.

In John 15 Jesus says, “I am the vine, and you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.” Remaining in Christ is to center your life around the reality of God’s presence. Remaining in Christ is to allow yourself to be pruned and refined by his instruction. Remaining in Christ is what empowers you to obey his command to love one another. God wants to work through you in powerful ways, and this starts by the work he’s doing in you.
