The Bible is filled with the imagery of God as our Father — And specifically of God adopting us. Galatians 4:5-7 says “But when the set time had fully come, God sent his Son, born of a woman, born under the law, to redeem those under the law, that we might receive adoption to sonship.” The creator of the universe wants you and me to be part of his family. It’s almost too good to be true, but the good news IS true: You are accepted. You are secure. You are family.
