Listen to the Audio Version:

Listen with Your Life

Listen with your life.
When we began our study of the Sermon on the Mount with the beatitudes, Jesus called us to question our perspective of the world and our place within it. He offered simple yet profound instructions of how we can be transformed from the inside out.

Each week we’ve examined a new truth about our old ways of living. If you’ve followed along with us through much of this study, odds are you had at least one moment of pause where you knew God wanted you to examine part of your life in a new light. Maybe when we talked about truth, you knew your words don’t always tell it like it is. Perhaps when we learned what life could be like when we trust ours to God, you knew you hadn’t really let go of the controls just yet. Maybe the separate weeks about love, marriage, and anger all added up to a single painful truth about what has been happening in your home. When you look back on each message in this foundational sermon, we pray you’ll also remember how we learned that grace finds us where we are but won’t leave us where we’re found.

Is there something you know God wants you to do? Where does His grace want to take you? Think back over all we’ve learned together from the Sermon on the Mount, and this time when hear God’s call, don’t just listen with your ears… listen with your life.
