Messy & Meaningful
Friends make life messy and meaningful.
The people around you are not always your dream team… When you were younger, you may have pictured a future with notably more success and surrounded by people with fewer flaws. Yet, God has placed you right where you are. The bible teaches us not only the importance of spiritual friendships, but the work required to cultivate them. The healthiest relationships are healthy because someone has put in the work! You need a friend who can simultaneously celebrate your strengths and shoulder your weaknesses. You need a friend—and need to be a friend—who can hold the blessings and blemishes of spiritual friendships in tension. Friends make life messy and meaningful.
