Real love is defined this way: God is love. God has chosen to shower His love upon us. We have value, not because we are lovable, but because we are loved. Scripture tells us that God has already chosen to love us. He sent his Son first, to prove how much he loved us. When you grasp this real love, it changes everything. May the love of God shape your soul in this season, may the love of God transform your relationships through the holidays. As it brings joy, as it brings peace, as it brings patience, and kindness, and gentleness while you celebrate Christ’s coming.
