SPEAKER: Troy Champ
Blessed are the merciful for they will be shown mercy. Mercy is the kindness you show the driver who cut you off. Mercy is the empathy you show a friend who keeps making poor decisions. Mercy is the gentleness in your voice when confronting your spouse. Mercy is patience with an aggravating child. Mercy is listening to someone who needs an ear. Mercy is forgiving the friend who talked about you behind your back. If mercy were easy to give, we’d all be giving it. But our challenge is to give it anyway because what you do to others, you do to God. What does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
May the God of heaven open your eyes to see the opportunities he’s giving you to show compassion…. To Him.
Pray: “Lord, show me who needs mercy today”.
Pray: “Lord, help me be merciful to people who sin differently than me.
And what does the LORD require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.
