Too good not to be true.

When you consider Mr. Rogers through adult eyes, he seems a little too good to be true. He’s a little too kind, too gentle, too humble—so much so that his character feels irreplicable & completely unattainable. But we desperately need people like Mr. Rogers—people like King Jesus—who don’t fight back, but love back; who break the cycle of retaliation and reaction; who break the cycle of anger & irritation. These traits are not reserved for Saints. They are completely attainable to each of us—to you!—through the work of the Holy Spirit and your every-day decisions to do things that bring you closer to God. The life and legacy of Jesus is too good not to be true.
