Who Ate My Sunshade?

Who ate my sunshade?
The book of Jonah is not just a book about Jonah and a big fish; it is a book about the character of God, and perhaps has practical applications for us in times of trial. When we face difficulty, disappointment, or anger, may we leverage this in our prayer life to draw us closer to God and to each other. We need to allow God—who doesn’t desert us in our anger—to hear about our disappointment and trust him when we don’t understand. If you’re disillusioned by life, may you see it as a season you’re passing through on your way to maturity. May you trust God with the big stuff, with the small stuff, and with all the stuff you don’t understand. May you experience God in all of his compassion and love.
