“Your Dreams Are Not Your Own”

We all have dreams. Dreams for our relationships, dreams for our career, dreams for so many parts of our lives.

But something happens when we misunderstand the nature and responsibility of dreams. Misunderstood and misused, our dreams become nightmares for us and those around us.

We’re kicking off the new year by examining the story of arguably the most famous dreamer in the Bible to find the wisdom – and the warnings – his story offers as we strive to faithfully live the dreams God has given us.

Pray that God will give you a dream.

Give your dream back to God.

Ask God to open your eyes to how he’s preparing you to live
the dream he’s given you.

Ask God to open your eyes to how you may be living his
dream for you already – without you realizing it.
