Great news: God gave us free will. Bad News: God gave us free will. Sin over promises and always under-delivers. Yet it has a way of sinking in and enticing us away from God and away from the abundant life he promises. As we get pulled from God, we find that God will even at times give us over to exactly what we are looking for, even if it’s not really what we want. If we just took a moment to hold the biblical truths in hand and “play the movie” in our minds we could find that truth can steer us from temptation and from God’s wrath and back into a righteous life with Jesus.
