Primary text: Philippians 4:10-13

I can get through anything if I go through everything with him.

Contentment is freedom from the stressful, agitated urge for more. It’s a restful state of heart & mind in which you know in your bones that God has given you everything you need to do everything he wants you to do. Paul shares the secret to contentment with us in Philippians 4:10-13. The secret to contentment is learned in times of humility. It is learned when your prayers go unanswered, when you feel you’ve missed out, and when you’ve failed. Circumstances are irrelevant—whether you win or lose, you’ll be okay. In fact, you’ll be better than okay because you can get through anything if you go through everything with Jesus.
