“Dealing With Doubt”

SPEAKER: Troy Champ

This Easter message was (believe it or not) about doubt. How big is your faith in this season of life? Is it growing? Is it getting bigger? Or is it shrinking? Maybe doubt has begun to settle into your soul. Are you wiped out, weak, or running low on faith? Whatever doubt you deal with in your faith, Jesus wants you to know: It’s not the size of your faith, but the size of your God.

Engage your doubts. Doubt your doubts. Pray your doubts. Then yes, ignore your doubts. Focus on whatever speck of faith you have left. The best way to grow a bigger faith is to be reminded that you serve a BIG God. You may think that God is either too small to see you or He’s too big to care. Isaiah says, NEITHER! Our promise is that those who hope in the Lord (or wait on the Lord) will renew their strength. God can do a lot with just a little. So give Him that mustard seed – He is a big God who loves you fiercely.

HOMEWORK

Isaiah 40:31
Those who hope in the Lord
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

Mark 9:14-27 – We see a man who prays that God would help his unbelief.
Engage this passage – What does God have for you in it?
