Discipleship in the dark.
As disciples of Jesus, we’ve got to prepare ourselves for the inevitable unanswered questions—and we can’t assume the questions we’re left asking will be easy to sit with. If we’re going to follow Jesus with any hope of peace, we need to get used to doing discipleship in the times we’re heartbroken, disappointed, and left in the dark.
God invites us to sit in our uncertainty with hope—a hope that is not simply a belief that “things will just work out”, but a hope that is an oasis in the desert. As disciples of Jesus, we must learn to live with one foot minding matters here on earth and one foot in the hope of heaven—trusting that we’ll understand it better by and by.

The LORD will guide you always;
