God is looking for people who are looking for him.
In Luke 12, Jesus teaches his followers to be “dressed and ready”, fully prepared to carry his light into the dark world. The parable serves as an eternal reminder to be expectant of Jesus’ coming; but it also provides an immediate call for followers of Jesus to be on the lookout for what God is doing in their world and ready to respond. God doesn’t want us to miss out on the joyful, life-giving experience of being used by God to create pockets of heaven on earth, right now. People around you need an eternal savior, and they need an immediate sacrifice of your time and your focus to show them that Jesus cares about them right now. Are you dressed & ready? God is looking for people who are looking for him.
