Faith & Works
Language is tricky. You can’t take for granted that the way you are using a word is the same way the person you’re in conversation with uses that same word. American slang is the perfect example. How one generation uses words like “cool,” “sick,” and “fit” isn’t the way another generation uses these words.
This week in our series The Way, renowned New Testament scholar N.T. Wright shows how James and Paul mean different, yet complimentary things when they discuss the role of “works” in the life of a disciple of Jesus. And as a bonus, after his compelling message, Dr. Wright answers a few very important theological questions that have a direct impact on the way we live our every day lives.
