Look For His Love.
Maybe it was in grade school. It could have been on a roadtrip. Perhaps while waiting for your food at a restaurant. Whenever and wherever it happens, we all find ourselves staring at a Word Search puzzle from time to time.
We know what it’s like to scan a sea of chaotic letters in search of a few that are in order, that make sense, that form a word. It will never be more than a jumble of nonsense until we stop, until we focus, until we begin to look for the words the puzzle’s creator put in it.
This week in our series Overflowing Hope, we explore a poem from Lamentations that shows us hope can be found in even the most hopeless situations – if we know what to look for.
Other texts in this message: Proverbs 13:12, Proverbs 17:22, Proverbs 14:13, Proverbs 18:14, Lamentations 3:13-20
