“Not Your Throne”

SPEAKER: Troy Champ

You know the old saying? “If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all.” Well James says to us, if you can’t say anything nice, what does that say about you? Ouch. You may suffer from Chronic Critique Syndrome (CCS). If you’re quick to call people on their junk, God will be quick to call you on yours! And he’s right to do so because he sees what’s in your soul. Ask yourself – are you focused on the speck in someone else’s eye and missing the plank in your own? If you can’t say anything nice, what does that really say about you?

HOMEWORK

Ask a friend if you suffer with Chronic Critique Syndrome (CCS). Ask God to change your heart. You may even need to ask for forgiveness.
