Primary Text2 Thessalonians 3:16

Listen to the Audio Version:
“Pervasive Peace”
May the Lord of Peace Give You Pervasive Peace with Every Problem and Every Person
Throughout his letters, Paul prays for his friends in churches scattered throughout the region. As we read his prayers today, we notice a stark contrast between the content of Paul’s prayers and the requests we make of God each day. How might your life change if you prayed prayers like Paul? In this series, we’ll examine four of the apostle’s prayers and begin praying them for ourselves and the people around us.
Homework
There tend to be two primary times we lack peace – with problems and people so let’s pray about both. Uncertainty. Failure. Grief. Shame. Heartache. Forgiveness. Pressure. Marriage. Singleness. Children. Family. Friendship. Work. May the Lord of Peace give you pervasive peace with every problem and every person. Memorize the verse, pray the verse for yourself and for others, and let the Person of peace dwell within your people and problems this week. 2 Thessalonians 3:16 – Now may the Lord of peace himself give you peace at all times and in every way. The Lord be with all of you.
