REALLY With You

He REALLY is with you.
In the “Farewell Discourse”—the final three and a half chapters from John’s Gospel, John leaves his readers with some of the most intimate and important teachings of Jesus. One of these themes is that of the Holy Spirit, and the role of the Spirit in our everyday journey through life. The Holy Spirit is what makes it possible to be present with God. Unlike in Jesus’ day, when people fought over time with Jesus in the flesh, you don’t have to crawl, fight, or clamber to get into God’s presence. Through the Spirit, God made a way to be with you always. Even if you may not have seen him or sensed him lately, his promise is sure—he really is with you.
