God Reveals His Perfect Love Through Imperfect People.
Your career. Your car. Your body. None of them work perfectly, but they’re all working together – however imperfectly – to keep us moving forward toward the future.
The same goes for the people in our lives. Sure, they will disappoint us, they will let us down, they will even straight up fail us at some point. Yet, there’s no greater vehicle to help us move forward on our spiritual journey than the friends God has put in our lives.
The Bible shows that even the most broken among us can serve as the greatest conduit for transmitting God’s character to those who need him the most.
This week, we kickoff our God and the Movies series by exploring one of this year’s biggest blockbusters to see what it can teach us about how God just might use the people in our lives to reveal his wonderful character.
