Too often we sit back and embrace a namby-pamby weak stick faith lounging in the locker room sipping Gatorade instead of running our race. The author of Hebrews challenges us not to settle for a half-lived life, but to step out and run our race. Through these verses, God encourages us to run to Jesus like Jesus and with Jesus, who is the pioneer and perfecter of our faith. As you fix your eyes on him may you experience a life of joy and not be shaken by anything.
